Zaragoza has more 2,000 years of history and is one of Spain\u2019s most loved cities. Located on the banks of the Ebro River, it is also the capital of the Aragon region of Spain and has one of the greatest artistic and historical legacies in the country. Here you will find Baroque gems such as the Goya designed Pilar Basilica, which sits on the banks of the Ebro river, the Circus Roman ruins, Mudejar style churches, and the Aljaferia Palace, to name but a few. There are remnants of the Roman era, and many buildings of significance that reference the ancient Moors, Jewish, and Christian communities.
